HotShots Youth Sports is a part of the Educational Opportunites for Children and Families (EOCF) program in Vancouver, Washington. HotShots caters to boys and girls in grades 1-6 who are interested in playing basketball on a recreational level.
HotShots Philosophy:
HotShots believes that the primary reason a child plays youth sports is simply to have FUN. Our goal is to provide every player the opportunity to grow in the love of basketball, improve their skills, practice good sportsmanship, build friendships, learn teamwork, and have FUN – in a safe and positive atmosphere.
Who Plays HotShots?
HotShots basketball is for boys and girls grades 1 – 6 in the Vancouver area. Teams are formed based on gender (we have separate teams for boys and girls), grade level, and school. Players can register individually or as a team of 10. Practices and games are held in school gyms throughout the Vancouver and Evergreen school districts.
Teams from other districts are valued and welcome in the program, but must provide their own practice gym.
Individual players from other districts are welcome to join HotShots, but will be placed on a Vancouver or Evergreen team.
